LANGLAIS, ETHEL JEANETTA
The passing of Ethel Jeanetta Langlais, loving and devoted wife of Jerry Langlais, occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Thursday, August 17th, 2023. Born in Sus, New Brunswick on March 11, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Lauretta (Anderson) Campbell.
Ethel worked as a Real Estate agent for 11 years and with the Government of New Brunswick for 5 years. She took great pride in her garden, enjoyed bowling and participated in Tai Chi.
Along with her husband Jerry, Ethel is survived by her children; Lorie Langlais, Kevin Langlais and his spouse Wanda, Leigh Ipsen and her spouse Joe and Stephen Langlais and his spouse Jen. As well as her 4 brothers; Arden Campbell, Dale Campbell and his spouse Rita, Brian Campbell and his spouse Krysia and Wayne Campbell. She will also be mourned by her 3 grandchildren: Millie, Koen and Ruby. Along with brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbours and Alexandria, Andrew and Morgan.
In addition to her parents, Ethel is predeceased by her son Mike Langlais, sister Lorna Reschke and spouse Vic along with her sister in-law Ada Campbell.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). The family invites you to attend a graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Following the interment, there will be a reception at the Fundy Reception Center.
