Elizabeth Edgett Obituary
Elizabeth (Saunders) Edgett peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024. Born in 1941 in Fredericton, NB, she was the cherished daughter of the late Murray and Marjorie (Foreman) Saunders.
She and her husband, Dean, embarked on a remarkable journey together, traveling across Canada and the United States, and enjoying winters in Florida. For 25 years, they poured their hearts into raising support for Kingswood University, dedicating themselves to their passion for ministry.
Elizabeth’s greatest joy was her family and the countless lives she touched along the way. She will be deeply missed by her son, David (Marsha) Edgett of Moncton, NB; her daughter, Heather (Chad) Nesrallah of the Dominican Republic; her beloved granddaughters, Madison Edgett and Ashley Burchel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and all the “kids” who found a home in her heart.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband, Dean Edgett; her son, Allan Edgett; her sister, Doreen Thorne; her parents-in-law, Francis and Ruby (Wilbur) Edgett; her brother-in-law, Francis Edgett, and his wife, Greta Edgett.
Elizabeth’s faith, kindness, and devotion to others will forever remain her legacy.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB). A Celebration Service will be held at Moncton Wesleyan Church (945 St. George Blvd, Moncton, NB) on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. with a reception following.
