Mullin, Deborah “Debbie” Jean –
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Mullin on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at The Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 69. Born in Saint John, NB on March 29, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Carl Bradley and Kathleen “Bea” Searle.
Debbie is survived by her husband Ike of 33 years, daughter Michelle (David Cameron), son Shawn MacKay (Marie-Eve), granddaughters Kayla and Alysha Thompson, brother Wayne Bradley (Mona) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and numerous friends across Canada.
Debbie was predeceased her daughter Stacy, her sisters Darlene and Caroline, brothers David and Carl.
Debbie retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service at The Loch Lomond Villa as an Administrator who was responsible for the scheduling and was always known for her ability to make sure everyone was looked after.
After her retirement, Debbie was heavily involved with Youth Darts becoming Youth Director for the province of New Brunswick for 12 years, also working as an administrator with Wendy Fram for the NBDA. Debbie was also a proud Lyon’s club & Legion Branch # 39 member.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of the Cardiac Unit at SJRH and the paramedics who helped bring Debbie to the hospital for their excellent care and professionalism.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (506-646-2424). A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Wednesday, July 3rd at 11 am, everyone is welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
