Dallis Mae Legacy Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Dallis Mae Legacy announces her passing on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home. Born in Woodstock, NB, on June 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ida (Rockwell) Crouse and wife of the late Clarence Legacy.
Dallis loved playing bingo and listening to country music, especially her favourite singer, Charlie Pride. She also enjoyed admiring flowers and birds.
Dallis is survived by her sons Joseph and Michael Legacy; daughters Debra Bailey (Andy) and Linda Wortman (Charlie); brother Carl Crouse; sisters Shirley Grant, Lettie Crouse as well as Diane King (Michael) and their daughter Tracey King; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents and husband Clarence, she was predeceased by her sons Terry and David Legacy.
The family would like to extend a special thanks the staff at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen home for their compassion and care for Dallis during her time there.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, donations in Dallis’ memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
