Obituary of Helen Marie Sears
It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Marie Sears, announces her passing at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Helen passed away peacefully at the age of 59 with her daughter, son and sister by her side.
Born on January 1, 1965 in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Georgie (Farrow) Sears.
Helen was always willing to lend a helping hand, enjoyed crafting, gardening, horses and shopping with her sister, Aileen. However, even more important than those things was her role as a mother and grandmother and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Helen will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her spouse, Rick Doucette; her daughter, Vanessa (Nicholas); her sons, Tanar and John; her sisters, Lil, Bev, Mary, Gladys, Marjorie, Aileen and Phyllis; her brothers, Bob, Daniel and Reynolds, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Jim.
Arrangements are entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
If so desired, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter in Amherst, NS or to the charity of one’s choice.
On-line condolences and sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website www.campbellsfuneralhome.com or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page.
