Roger Gregoire passed away after a short illness on December
11, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in
Lauvriere Restigouche, NB he was the son of the late Doreena
(née Legacé) and George
Gregoire.
During his life, Roger was an avid bowler and highly regarded
by his peers. He liked the pressure of being the team anchor. He also
enjoyed a morning of fishing or a good game of cards.
For Roger, his family came first. He will be greatly missed
by his loving wife of 55 years Barbara, sons: Roger (Jenn) and Marc
(Sarah), grandchildren: Kassidy (Dylan), Zack (Kaithlyn), Danielle
(Daniel), Paige (Connor), Mayson (Emma), Nathan and his great
grandchildren: Abbie, Oliver, Malaya, Karsyn and Scarlette.
He will also be greatly missed by his sisters: Rose, Theresa, Rita,
Helen, Yvonne, brother: Willie and his many nieces, nephews, and great
friends.
Aside from his parents, Roger was predeceased by his
granddaughter Sasha; brothers Valmond, John Paul, and Ernie; sisters
Flo, Leona and Irene.
Resting at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation
Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007), with a visitation on
Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A funeral service
will be held following the visitation at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers,
the family would appreciate donations in Roger’s name to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or any children’s charity.
