Joanne Lewis of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on September 30, 2024. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter
of the late Horace and Alice (Sutherland) Hicks.
Joanne was
a member of the Gunningsville Baptist Church, Gospel Music Festival
Association and was formerly employed at Steeves Motors.
She will be missed and remembered by her sons: Jeffrey (Mary
Lou), John (Jan), grandchildren: Brett Lewis, Alycia and her
great-grandchildren: Sam, Dean, Luca and Maverick.
Aside
from her parents, Joanne was predeceased by her beloved husband
Reginald of 58 years, brother Hollis and her sister Rosetta
Briggs.
Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October
6, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). A funeral
service will be held at Gunningsville Baptist Church 160 Old Coach Rd
Riverview on Monday at 11:00am.
Interment will take place
in Monteagle Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the
Gunningsville Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
