Obituary of Derrick Michael Teed
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Derrick Teed on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB on
November 11, 1966, he was the son of Floyd and Lyla (Arsenault) Teed.
Derrick worked for many years in general contracting and loved working outside. It didn’t matter how cold or hot, he preferred the outdoors as opposed to working in any building. Derrick also loved spending time in nature and had a wonderful sense of humour. But his most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his parents, Derrick is survived by his children, Kayla, Ashton, Michael, and Monica, his grandchildren Morgan, Cayden, and Carter, sisters
Heather (Trina) Bertin, Kim (Mark) Mahoney, Penny (Danny) Boucher, brother, Bryan (Greg) Wilson, and long-time special friend, Shelly Robbins and many nieces
and nephews. Derrick was pre-deceased by his brother, Kirt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson’s Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, NB (506 857 9544) with
a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. The funeral will be live streamed on the Ferguson’s Riverview website.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
Funeral arrangments have been entrusted to Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB.
