1934-2024
SAINT-CHARLES, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we
announce the passing of our beloved mother, Yvette Daigle, 90, of
Aldouane who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving
family Monday, September 16, 2024. Born in Richibucto, she was the
daughter of the late Cyrille Richard and late Evangeline (Richard)
Richard.
Yvette was a wonderful mother who loved her children dearly
and was devoted to her family.
Yvette will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Monique
Daigle of Aldouane, Gisèle Daigle(Regilles) of St. Charles
and Louise Johnson of Richibucto; her three sons, Jean-Paul Daigle of
Aldouane, Claude Daigle (Suzanne) of Aldouane and Marc Daigle of
Aldouane; seven grandchildren, Stéphane, Jean-Yves,
Chantal, Serge, Jolyne, Daniel and Julie; six great grandchildren,
Marco, Luka, Alissa, Jacob, Noah and Kody.
She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Bernice Brideaux
(Claude) of Montreal and Alice Daigle (late Nazaire) of Moncton; one
brother-in-law, Joseph Daigle (Rhéa) of Moncton, as well as
many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one infant
daughter, Gisèle; her husband Aldéoda; her
daughter Denise; her brother Henry and several brothers and sisters in
law.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto from 7:00 -9:00 pm and
the following day from 9:00 am until departure for the service. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at
the St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St.
Charles, beginning at 11:00 am.
The family would like to express a special thank you to
Francine and Vanessa who took such good care of their mother, and to
Dr. Éric Martin and the extra-mural staff for all their
kind and compassionate care.
