Anna Sanipass
1958-2024
ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Anna Sanipass 66, of Elsipogtog
passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University
Hospital Center on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born in
Rexton, she was she daughter of the late Michael Sanipass and late
Doreen (Simon) Sanipass.
Anna loved making puzzles; she was famous for her macaroni
dinners and enjoyed cooking for her family, especially for her
grandchildren. She always put others first; she would smile
even on her darkest days of sickness. Anna was generous,
kind, compassionate, never judgemental just supportive and helpful.
She was the rock of the family, had many friends and her strong
religious beliefs brought her much comfort. She was a loving
mother that fostered and adopted many
children.
Anna will be sadly missed by her partner, Arthur
“Jazz” Levi; two daughters, Medina Francis, Hillary Tomah
(late Iggy); one son, Martin Francis (Melissa) all of Elsipogtog and
nine grandchildren, Tariq, S’alij, Darwin, Wendell, Marissa,
Xavier, Treyton, Ensley and Henley.
She is also survived by two sisters, Maria Augustine (Bryan)
of Bouctouche, Beverly Sanipass (Paul) of Elsipogtog; two brothers,
Joseph Sanipass (Angela), Darrell Sanipass (Mary); brother-in-law,
Jason Tomah; sisters-in-law, Maree and Lorraine all of Elsipogtog; the
father of two of her children, Maurice Francis and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by one son, Radley;
one sister, Catherine and five brothers, Michael Jr., Claude, Daniel,
Donald and Peter.
Visitation will begin on Thursday beginning at 4:00 pm, 239
Levi Street, Elsipogtog until time of the funeral. A Funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:30 am,
St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church,
Elsipogtog.
