Saint-Antoine, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Aldéa Cormier, 73, that occurred on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Saint-Damien, NB, she was the daughter of the late Irèné LeBlanc and the late Aline (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Aldéa was a woman full of compassion and love that dedicated her life for her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She was passionate about cooking, her garden, and especially her flowers. The beauty of her flowers made her glow with joy. For many years, she made quilts for her customers.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Oscar Cormier; her son, Justin Cormier (Burt) of Moncton; her two daughters: Jolène Breau (Christian) of Cocagne, and Sonia Allain (Randy) of Saint-Antoine; her four grandchildren: Samuel, Alexa, Joshua, and Anabelle; her two step grandson: William and Richard; her brother, Jacques LeBlanc (Phyllis) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; her sister-in-law, Murielle of Saint-Damien; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Fernand; as well as her sister, Astrid (2023).
Visitation will be held from Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T3, 506-532-1050, on Monday, April 8th, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm only. There will be no funeral service.
Donations in memory of Aldéa can be made to the Phare des Services Communautaire of Bouctouche or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
The family wishes to thank the Extra-Mural Program of Kent for the great care given towards Aldéa during her illness.
