Francine Wedge, 89, of Moncton, passed away peacefully
surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the
Villa du Repos. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late
Fidèle and Cécile (Doiron)
Richard.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert;
four children: Linda Wedge-Perry (Richard Bullied), Irene Richard
(Donald Rittwage), Pamella Burke (Stephen LeBlanc), and Robert Wedge
(Lori); two sisters: Florine Goguen (Raymond) and Huguette Dufresne
(late Flory); one brother, Alcide (Claudia); one brother-in-law,
Ronald Cormier; six grandchildren: Stéphane, Sarah,
Matthew, Charlené, Jordan, and Chantal; two
great-grandchildren: Miranda and Vincent; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased one daughter at birth, Angèle;
and six siblings: Ernest, Zita, Yolande, her twin brother France,
Carmella, and Julia.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday November 1 at
3 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 1 pm until time of
funeral. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the
funeral, go to her obituary on Frenette Website. Interment will be at
Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Francine, a
contribution to Multiple Sclerosis Canada (MS) would be
appreciated.
