Esber Elias Obituary
Esber Elias, 72 of Moncton, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Health Centre on Wednesday morning, September 18, 2024. Born in Syria, he was the son of the late Nakhleh and Mariam (Saleem) Elias.
Esber was a retired builder and owner/operator of a Farming Supplies Store in his native Syria. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him.
Esber will be sadly missed his loving wife, Salam (Rafkah) Elias; his cherished children, Nibal Doumany (Freddie), Nabil Elias (Mariam), Luna Elias and Elian Elias; his loving grandchildren, Joey, Georgio, Luna Belle, George, Ella, Spiro, Rizk and Marel; sisters, Samira, Hasna and Nigma; many extended family members. In addition to his parents, Esber was predeceased by his brother, Hussiny.
Private Family and Friends Funeral Service to be held from Saint Varlaam Romanian Orthodox Church, River Glade, NB, on Thursday September 19, 2024 at 11:00 am with Priest Rev. Fr. PhD Cezar Pelin presiding. Interment to be held in the Church Cemetery.
Esber’s family will be receiving condolences from family and friends at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday, September 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
