Elsie Jean Kendall Obituary
Elsie J. Kendall, 100 of The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, Riverview, passed away peacefully within the comforts of her residence on Friday, July 19, 2024. Born in England she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Rose (Cooper) Thacker.
Elsie was a long-time member of St. George’s Anglican Church and she enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and friends.
Elsie will be sadly missed by her loving sons, Stephen Kendall of Ontario and Clifford Kendall (Judy) of Lakeville, Westmorland Co.; grandchildren, Chris Kendall, Douglas Kendall (Michelle), Michael Kendall (Krista) and Tracey Kendall; great grandchildren, Tyler, Rowan, Samantha, Brody, Logan and Brock; many extended family members. In addition to her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Jim Kendall (1992); sisters, Pauline, Joan, Doreen, Eileen, Kathleen and brothers Clifford, Jim and Keith.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor for the love, compassion and care given to Elsie during her stay.
A Service to Celebrate and Honour Elsie’s Life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, (506-858-1995) Moncton on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with The Venerable Brent Ham presiding. Reception to follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment to be held in Elmwood Cemetery.
