In Loving Memory of Valery M. MacDonald
1934 – 2024
Valery Mary MacDonald, wife of the late C. Elwell MacDonald of Miramichi, NB, passed away at Hospice Miramichi on April 14, 2024, at the age of 90.
Born in Saint John, NB, on February 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Martha Anne (Curwin) Peterson. She was a Homemaker and Christian by faith.
Valery is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ellick (Jeffrey) of Saint John; step-daughter, Tara MacDonald of Saint John; sons: Vernon Webster (Penny) of Saint John and Arthur Webster of Edmonton, AB; step-son, Brian MacDonald (Michelle) of Saskatoon, SK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Perry of Barnaby River; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, C. Elwell MacDonald; and brothers: Vernon and Arthur.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 2-4 PM ONLY. A Graveside Service will be held in Bayside Christian Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Miramichi would be appreciated by the family.
