Jean-Guy Mallais

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my eldest son Jean-Guy Mallais at the young age of 49, after a 14-month struggle to recover from a debilitating stroke. Guy fought a good fight but was taken to a free and happier life by the angels.
Guy has now joined his dad Reginald Mallais, Nanny and Grandad, Marjorie & Henry Fowler, Grandmere & Grandpere, Florence & Alphee Mallais, Uncles Graham Fowler and Romuald Mallais and Auntie Stephanie (Fowler) Robichaud in the family circle in the clouds.
Survived and deeply missed by his loving mom, Marjorie, his fun-loving brother Mike and his Life partner Kevin Dempsey. Aunts Jean Woods, Linda Fowler, Rejeanne Cormier, Chantal Mallais and Florentine Mallais, his uncles Florent and Wilfred Mallais.
Maternal Cousins Stephanie Ballance, Susan Diemert, Chris Woods, Jennifer Price, Gene Fowler, Samantha Barnett. Paternal Cousins, Guillaume & Jacques Mallais and their families.
Guy was a quiet child who fell in love with all thing’s computer and gaming especially Mortal KOMBAT where he had many a Battle Royale with his brother Mike. He was our “IT” go to man. I know he had many an “eye roll” when he got a call from me!
Guy deeply loved his family and friends and would move Heaven and earth to help.
He loved to cook, play games, movies, loved his Madonna and cats.
He was sincere, honest, witty, funny as hell, a proud Pride flag waver and a lover of all things rainbow, loved his holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.
I’d like to thank all who had been with him through this horrendous ordeal.
There are so, so many wonderful people that I can’t name you all but you know who you are.
Guy may be unfurling his wings but will never fly far from our hearts.
Miss you so much my darling boy, always with me everywhere I go!

There will be a Celebration of Life at Guy’s home, 47 Whitney Ave, Moncton, on Wednesday afternoon, October 25th from 12 to 7 pm and every day there after.
Please come to say hello, tell a story or just to have a good cry. I truly look forward to meeting Guy’s friends.❤️. Mom
