Gary Lynch
July 21, 1950 — April 21, 2024
Gary Lynch, of Nowlanville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late John and Gladys (Connell) Lynch. He was a member of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church.
Gary lived his life enjoying his time with his family, friends, and the hobbies he loved. Whether on the ball field, hunting, bowling, his horses, playing darts, or on the river, he lived life on his terms. He worked as an electrician for I-Line Electric, was a member of IBEW for 46 years, and was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family in need of his expertise. Gary’s strong yet calming presence will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him. He cherished his many family relationships from all generations and always kept his children up to date on the goings-on of the extended family. Special visits under the maple trees provided warm memories for all his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. If wishing to honor his memory, spend time with your loved ones outside in nature to reflect on his life.
He will be greatly missed by his loving spouse Heather Richardson, children Jody Lynch (Kelly) of Quispamsis, Cindy Lynch (Reid Davidson) of Moncton, Vicki Lynch-Gunter (Steve) of Quispamsis, Stacey Dingwell (Greg) of Miramichi, and Amber Lynch (Alex O’Shea) of Miramichi. Also his siblings: Donald Lynch (Barbara) of Nelson, Dianne Richardson (Laurie) of Ontario, Carmel Wenzel (Thomas Russell) of Nowlanville, Bobby Lynch (Late Donna) of Nowlanville, Wanda Gallan (Garey) of MacKinleyville, Shirley Taylor (Late Freddy) of Nowlanville, Gail Bouley (Brian) of Nelson, Allan Lynch (Susan) of South Nelson, Darlene Blacquier (Raymond) of Nelson, Darrell Lynch (Margaret Peterson) of Taintville, and Glen Lynch (Christine Malley) of Nowlanville. He was pre-deceased by his sister Brenda Lynch- Savoy (Late Ricky).
He will be fondly remembered by grandchildren: Emma, Jake (Jody), Craig (Cindy), Layla, Logan (Vicki), Ryleigh, Taiylor, Kayleigh, Chase (Stacey), Spencer, Maddox, Russell (Amber); and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday April 25th, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, in Nelson, on April 26th, at 11 AM, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.
