Zita LeBlanc Obituary
Zita LeBlanc of Foyer Saint Thomas, Memramcook (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away at her residence on Monday August 26, 2024 at the age of 100 and was the youngest of her siblings. Born in Memramcook East on April 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Julien and Genevieve (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She was a devoted mother and adored her grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. She had a generous heart and was always ready to give a helping hand. She will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Elise (late Pierre) Therrien of Montreal, Laura (Conrad) LeBlanc of Memramcook Lake, Maria (Pierre) Moreau of Montreal, Dolorese (Normand) Poirier of Memramcook East and Cecile (Brian) Evers of Memramcook East, three sons, Roland LeBlanc (Aline) of College Bridge, Ola (Nicole) LeBlanc of College Bridge and Jerome (Dorine) LeBlanc of Dieppe, 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Paul, one daughter Marie, three sons, Ulysse, Paul-Eugene and Emile, ten sisters, Sr Evangeline, Osithe, Sophie, Marie, Emma, Dorilla, Bella, Domethilde, Marguerite and Melina and two brothers, Auguste and George. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday August 29 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday August 30 from 1 to 3 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Friday August 30 at 4 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. A special thank you to the staff and personnel of the Foyer St-Thomas for the great care of our mother.
