Obituary of Barbara Harding
It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Harding announce her passing which occurred on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born on February 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elsie (Thomas) Fagg.
Barb is survived by her children: Debra Harding (John) of Hartley, ON, Alexander Sangster (Maude) of Saint John, NB, John Sangster of Brechin, ON and Rachael Parr (Edward) of Hampton, NB; daughter-in-law Nancy Sangster Desjardins (Keith) of Gravenhurst, ON; her eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren who loved her dearly; brothers: Alan Fagg of Keswick, ON and Graham Dumas (Sue) of Kirkfield, ON; sister Angela Shantry (Brian) of Holland Landing, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Barb was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Harding; daughters: Susan Garringer and Patricia Sangster; son William Geoffrey Sangster; brothers: Jack, Doug and David Fagg; and sister Dorothy Bellar.
Barb was a proud lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, and will be held at a late date in Ontario.
