Stephen Robert Arbeau “Steve” of Kingsley , NB , passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Born on May 24, 1950 he was the son of the late Millean and Vivian (Kervin) Arbeau. Steve is also predeceased by three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie; his two sons, Rob (Cynthia) and Martin. Steve was grand dad to Stephen, Vincent (Emilie), Vanessa and Dylan and great-grand dad to Kieran. He is also survived by seven brothers, two sisters, three uncles, one aunt and many nieces and nephews.
Steve was a retired Inco/Vale miner, where he was employed for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, hockey, wrestling and horse races. During the summer months, Steve would prefer to be outside in the garden, mowing the lawn or just sitting and enjoying the sun on him. He loved going for his evening drives, grabbing a coffee, muffin and watching whatever wildlife was out.
Steve will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Interment will be held in Hillcrest United Church Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
