It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the passing
of a devoted Partner, loving father and brother, caring friend, and
prouder uncle. Stephen Reginald Palmer passed peacefully on
December 25th, 2023, with his partner Laura Lee
by his side.
Stephen loved life and he loved the people he shared
it with more than anything! From singing and travelling to
see his favorite bands, to getting lost on a snow trail with his
friends at his side, laughing and digging out the whole
time. He always had time for a chat, a laugh and a beverage
of some sort! Those blue eyes twinkling with mischief and
fun! A gift and talent he no doubt honed in his
early years as he whiled away his winter nights as the best bartender
ever!
The teams he’s worked with over the years at
Miller Group and MRDC were family to him, many of whom became
‘Brothers and Sisters of other Mothers’.
Some of his greatest stories were of those he mentored and watched
grow through the years. He spoke to his love of paving and
the road and a ‘smell he longed for’.
Truly a boy who never lost his love of
trucks.
Let’s not forget his other
passion! Tim Hortons and that ‘parking lot
crew’ he visited without fail everyday he was
able! The staff at Main Street and those boys were
friends for sure!
Stephen is survived by his partner Laura Lee Babineau
and his son Cody Palmer (Rebecca), his brother Mark Palmer (Joanne)
and his sister Angie Palmer (Joey), many loving Nieces and Nephews and
Cousins.
Stephen is predeceased by his parents Reginald
& Mary Palmer and his son Dustin Stephen
Palmer.
The Family will be welcoming friends at
Bishop’s Funeral Home located at 540 Woodstock Road,
Fredericton, NB on Saturday December 30th, 2023
for visitation from 11am-1pm to be followed by a Service at
2pm.
