The passing of Noreen Faye Munn, wife of the late Frederick “Teddy” Munn of Boiestown, NB, occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on January 18, 1934 in Parker Ridge, NB, she was raised by her late grandparents, Frank and Bessie Calhoun. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and loved to socialize, read and do jigsaw puzzles but her joy was to spend time with family.
Noreen is survived by her children, Walter Munn (Karen), Debbi Veno (Leonard); granddaughter, April Veno-Munn (Sonny); great-grandchild, Wyatt Munn; sister, Bertha Collins; brother, Sterling Calhoun; half-sister Laura Saunders; half-brother, Blair Calhoun.
Besides her husband and grandparents, she was predeceased by her parents, Earle and Margaret Calhoun; sister, Flora Stewart; brothers, Fenton Calhoun, Ralph Calhoun and Weldon Calhoun; half-sister Juanita Haines; half-brother, Bev Calhoun.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2 pm with Pastor Rick Bruce officiating. Interment will take place in Bloomfield Ridge United Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ridgeway Baptist Church.
