The passing of Martha Blanch Sypher occurred on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Paradise Villa Retirement Residence in Fredericton, NB. Born in Cambridge Narrows on September 26, 1927 to Daniel and Beatrice (Akerley) Carpenter, she was a life long resident of the Narrows. She and Ernest were owners of the Cabins in the Pines for a good many years. Every renter became life-long friends.
Martha is survived by her sons, Douglas (Myrna) and Daniel (Eleanor); three grandchildren, Scott (Lisa), Lorie (late Steve) and Michael (Victoria); five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father and mother; husband, Ernest; brother, Gordon; and sister, Marion.
Arrangements are under the care of York Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and at Martha’s request there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in Cambridge Narrows Cemetery at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
