The passing of Rose “Marlene” Murray, wife of the late Arnold Murray of Fredericton, NB occurred on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton . Born on July 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Foster) Boone.
Marlene is survived by her daughters, Valerie Aytes (Clint) and Rose Savage (Tim); stepsons, Robbie, Andy and Jamie Murray; the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Brittany DeAngelis (Zach), Angela Blechschmidt, Dustin Blechschmidt (Amber), Ashley Savage (Ethan), Logan Savage (Kayla); she was a great-grandmother of six. Marlene was also survived by sister, Sylvia Graham (Glendon); sisters-in-law, Charlene Boone and Dawn; brother-in-law, Linwood Walker; several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Devon DeAngelis; sisters, Linda Walker and Gail Boone; and brothers, Fred Jr and Vaughn Boone.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton , on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
