The passing of Kenneth Joseph Martin of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 5th, 2024 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 21, 1958 in Fredericton, NB.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Amanda Scrimgeour (Max Guerette), grandson, Loukas; sisters, Betty Woods & Doris Martin (Donald Westall); brother, Stephen (Lori); and nephew, Richard Woods and two nieces, Melissa and Christine.
Kenneth had a special place in his heart for his chosen family, Craig & Brooke Sacobie and their three children.
He was predeceased by his partner, Anita Sacobie; parents, Edward & Irene Martin; sister, Helen West; brother, David Martin; and nephew, Michael Woods.
Kenneth worked alongside his father and brothers for Maritime Insulation for many years before retiring in 2011. He then dedicated his time to caring for his parents until their deaths.
In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes a private family graveside service will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
