The family of the late Harry Waite of Fredericton
NB are very sad to announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital on January 18, 2024, at 90 years of age. Harry was born in
Tyne Valley PEI on January 24, 1933, to his parents the late Alvin and
Dorothy Waite.
Harry is survived by his children,
Nicholas Waite (Mindy), Warren Waite, Jerry Waite, Shirley Gorvett
(David), Paul Waite (Bernita), Ronnie Waite (Helen), Dianne Wilkins
(Randy), Rob Waite (Lillian), Kendra Howe; many Grandchildren and
Great Grandchildren; his brother, Lloyd Waite as well as several
nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by former partner and still
good friend, Mavis Howe.
He is predeceased by his brothers,
Earnest Waite, Roy Waite, Jackie Waite, Stewart Waite; sisters,
Pauline Waite, Elga Waite; daughter-in-law Ann Waite as well as his
former wife Irene Waite.
Harry was a painter and all-around
talented handyman, he enjoyed playing the Guitar, enjoyed lighthouses,
especially the ones in PEI but his true passion was his family,
especially his much-loved grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Visitations will be held at
Bishop’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 540 Woodstock Rd,
Fredericton NB on Wednesday January 24, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday January 25 at 2pm at
Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Ivan Carr
officiating. For those who cannot attend, the service will be
