Obituary of Deborah Lynn Maston
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Deborah Lynn Maston announce her passing on Wednesday, April 10 th, 2024 at Hospice Fredericton. Born in Sus, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Millicent (Pugh) Sweet.
Deb will mostly be remembered by the way should would light up a room just by entering it. People were her passion which is why her long-time career in Human Resources was the perfect fit. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends. She also thoroughly loved the outdoors and was drawn to the ocean. When the weather was good, she was often found in the water with the canoe, on the golf course, or amongst the plants in the garden.
Debbie is survived and will be missed by her loving husband Richard Maston; a daughter Julie Stewart (Corey); grandchildren Griffin and Olivia Stewart; mother-in-law Jeanne Maston; sisters-in-law Joyce Maston and Terri Maston (Ron); nieces Joanne Morse (Scott) and their children Zoe and Georgia and Alicia Maston and her children Violet and Jack; nephew Scott Maston and his son Duncan, as well as
many cousins and several close friends.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by siblings Margaret Sweet, William Sweet and Susan Saunders.
In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations in Debbie’s memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton. Online condolences may be left at www.oromoctofh.com.
