Obituary of Aimee Lanteigne
It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Rose “Aimee” Lanteigne on April 12, 2024 at Thomas Hall, Fredericton. Born on March 20, 1947, in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Alexandra (Hache) Lanteigne.
Aimee loved her family dearly and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a wonderful outlook on life, she enjoyed dancing and music especially Elvis. She always welcomed visitors and shared a laugh with them. Aimee had “angels on earth”, Jessica and Myriah, who provide wonderful care and friendship to her.
Surviving are her son, Troy Wells (Marie); grandchildren, Curtis Wells, Vincent Wells, Jessica Wells; great grandchildren, Cohen and Keyan Calhoun; sister, Jeannie Blanchard (Freeman); brothers, Elie Lanteigne (Susan), Mike Lanteigne, John Lanteigne; sister-in-law, Diane Lanteigne.
Besides her parents, Aimee was predeceased by her brother, Donald “Don” Lanteigne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Callistus Abazie as celebrant. Interment will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Aimee’s memory may be made to any charity relating to mental health.
