À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston,
le 17 février 2024,
à l’âge de 68 ans et 10 mois,
nous a quittés Mme Nicole Maltais,
résidente d’Edmundston.
Elle était la fille de feu M. Albert Maltais
et de feu Mme Laurette Michaud.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Mélanie Roach (née Chiasson) de Texas; son petit-fils Casey Roach; ses frères et soeurs : Rachel (Eugène Blanchette) d’Edmundston, Patrick (Jacqueline Léger) de Moncton, Micheline d’Edmundston, Louis (Joan Myers) d’Edmundston, Louise (Shawn McGinn) de Nigadoo, Guy (Colette Michaud) de Grand-Sault et Danielle (Lisa Oldford) de Sackville; son ami Gilles Fournier, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et tantes.
Elle fut précédée dans la tombe par ses parents et ses frères Philippe et Jean-Paul.
Les funérailles de Mme Nicole Maltais auront lieu à 11h, le vendredi 23 février 2024 en l’Église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs d’Edmundston, avec l’inhumation au cimetière de Saint-Hilaire.
À noter qu’il n’y aura pas de visites avant les funérailles.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital,
on February 17, 2024,
at the age of 68 years and 10 months,
passed away Ms. Nicole Maltais,
resident of Edmundston.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. Albert Maltais
and the late Mrs. Laurette Michaud.
She is survived by her daughter Mélanie Roach (born Chiasson) of Texas; her grandson Casey Roach; her brothers and sisters: Rachel (Eugène Blanchette) of Edmundston, Patrick (Jacqueline Léger) of Moncton, Micheline of Edmundston, Louis (Joan Myers) of Edmundston, Louise (Shawn McGinn) of Nigadoo, Guy (Colette Michaud) of Grand Falls and Danielle (Lisa Oldford) of Sackville; her friend Gilles Fournier, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and aunts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Philippe and Jean-Paul.
The funeral of Ms. Nicole Maltais will be held at 11 a.m., Friday February 23, 2024 in the church of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs of Edmundston, with interment in the cemetery of Saint-Hilaire.
Please note that there will be no visitation before the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
