It is with great sadness that the family of Michel Roy, of Bathurst announce his sudden passing which occurred on Saturday, October 7th at the age of 29.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Nelson Vienneau and Lynne Roy (Donald Theriault).
Besides his father of Fort MacMurray and mother of Bathurst, he is survived by two brothers: Daniel Gionet Roy (Pamela Gionet) of Beresford and Alexander Roy of Woodstock, NB.
Maternal grandmother: Rose-Marie “Lily” Roy (Jean-Louise LeBlanc) of Dieppe and maternal grandfather: Donald Melanson (Vera) of Moncton.
One niece, Alice and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 10 a.m. on Friday, October 20th at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst from where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
Donations in memory of Michel may be made to the NB Mental Health Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
