Donna Smigelsky Obituary
Donna Lynne Smigelsky crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 15th, 2024 to be reunited with her beloved fur-babies and creatures great and small.
Our family chain was broken,
and nothing seemed the same.
But as we are called one by one, the chain will link again.
It won’t be too long before I meet you at Bridge and our family will be together again
where the sun is always shining
and love is all around.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Special thanks to the staff of Selkirk & District General Hospital, as well as her friends Ehren Kinast, Natasha Onyschuk, and Christopher Sklepowich for caring for Donna in her final days.
For those wishing to honour Donna’s lifelong commitment to those who cannot speak for themselves, donations in her memory may be made to:
For tax deductible receipt – Smigelsky Memorial Animal Rescue Trust (S.M.A.R.T.) to support registered charities that provide assistance and care to all rescued animals in Manitoba c/o Winnipeg Foundation 1350 One Lombard Avenue Winnipeg MB R3B 0X3;
