Sometimes there are no words for the feelings in the heart. Sympathy and understanding are with you this Holiday Season.
Losing someone you love can affect you significantly at different times of the year. The first Holiday Season can be especially difficult when you are missing someone who made this time of the year so special and enjoyable.
Each year during the Holiday Season a memorial service is held to assist the families we have served over the past year. This service has been carefully planned to allow those of any faith to attend and experience a time of holiday music and words of encouragement. During this evening the name of your loved one will be read out and a representative of each family in attendance will be asked to come forward and place a carnation at the front of the stage in their memory (flowers will be provided). Each family will then receive a memento in memory of their loved one.
The honor of your presence is requested at our memorial service to celebrate and remember the lives of those we lost this past year. This year’s service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM from the Veteran’s Community Hall, Swan River, MB. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service. Please feel free to invite those you wish to share this evening with. All are welcome. If you are unable to attend, a staff member will place a flower for you in remembrance of your loved one.
