Elda Rempel Obituary
Early Thursday morning, October 10, 2024, Elda Rempel passed away at Heritage Life PCH, Niverville, MB.
Elda is survived by her husband Werner, and her daughter Beverly (Alex), grandchildren Brock (Robin), Thalin (Kenton), Michelle (Jeremy), Tyler (Farren), and her great-grandchildren Aster, Iris, Kenton and Milo. She is also survived by one brother.
She was predeceased by her daughter Elaine, her parents and nine siblings.
Elda and Werner met in 1958 while both attending MBCI. They married on October 3, 1959. She enjoyed her many years working for the Royal Bank, both in Winnipeg and Steinbach. She retired early to pursue her passion for doll making, eventually attaining the designation D.A.G. Master of Dollmaking from the Doll Artisan Guild School of Dollmaking in 2007. Elda and Werner enjoyed travelling, taking many road trips with their girls, exploring Europe with friends, and spent many winters in Arizona.
Elda was known to be loyal, dedicated, and family-focused. She was quick to fight for those she loved and unafraid to speak her mind. Memories related to Elda’s spirited nature come easily to her family and close friends. She was a memorable person with whom to share a conversation. She lost a lot of who she was known to be in the last few years of her life, but she will be remembered as the assertive and feisty woman she was.
