Robert “Bob” Anderson Obituary
Mr. “Bob” Robert George Anderson of Melita passed away at the Virden Health Centre, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the age of 84.
He was predeceased by his parents, Russell & Marjorie (Colquhoun) Anderson; brother, Gerald Anderson; two nephews, Jamie & Greg Anderson.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Keven (Sandra) of Melita & family, Jennifer (Shaun), Craig (Darci) and Ryan; daughter, Barbara (Jay) Morrow of Winnipeg & family, Randy (Candace) and Alyssa (Jordan); son, Michael (Melissa) of Neepawa & family, Brooke (Sean) and Jodi; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Marjorie) Anderson; sister-in-law, Margaret Anderson.
There will be a public graveside service held at the Melita Cemetery, Melita, MB. on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow.
The family asks that donations be made to support the restoration of the horse (playground equipment) in Melita’s Central Park. Donations by cheque can be made to the Town of Melita, Box 361, Melita, MB. R0M 1L0 (in the memo please note, horse rejuvenation memorial) or e-transfer to admin@melitamb.ca (password horse).
