James “Jim” Belbas Obituary
Mr. Jim Belbas of Reston, MB. passed away peacefully at the Willowview Personal Care Home, Reston on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the age of 71.
Jim is survived by his wife Brenda (Clark) Belbas of Reston; son Tony Belbas of Killarney (daughter, Domino); daughter Tanya (Mick) Dueck of Boissevain (children, Addie and Finley); daughter Sherry Purvis of Reston, her son, Mathew (Lacy) (their children, Weston and Myles) and her son, Eric (Eunice); son Randy (Albina) Forsyth of Reston (children, Alexandra and Lucas); daughter Kathy Forsyth (Craig Cochrane) of St. Albert, AB. (children, Errol and Natalie); siblings Verna Simard, Harry (Heather) Belbas, Don Belbas, Elizabeth Belbas and John (Rob) Belbas; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Phyllis Belbas and brother Terry Belbas.
A public graveside funeral service for Jim will be held at the Melita Cemetery, Melita, MB. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Please bring your own lawn chair for seating. A lunch will follow. All are welcome.
Donations in memory of Jim may be given to the Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba, 120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
