Kenneth (Ken) Charles Hawkins passed away at the Birch Lodge Personal Care Home, Hamiota, MB on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 94 years of age.
Ken is lovingly remembered by his children Laurie Simms, Ron (Sherry), Pat (Angus) Norrie; grandchildren Michelle (Allan) Knight, Brett (Beth) Norrie, Andrea (Matt) Pratt, Ashley (Branden) Hoggins; great grandchildren Kyia, Carter, and Karlie Knight, Jaeda and Ethan Norrie, Jonah and Sawyer Pratt, and Sylvie Hoggins; sister in-law Georgina Green; and several nephews and nieces.
Ken was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Ivy; sister Dorothy (Lloyd) Sheridan; brothers Frank (Edith) and Don (Eleanor); son in-law Bill Simms; brothers in-law Ted (Eileen) Green, Harry Green; sisters in-law Mildred (Pete) Luciw, Elsie Green; nephew Alan Sheridan; and niece Nora Curtis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, MB on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 2:00pm. Family Interment will take place at the Hamiota Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will held at the Hamiota Community Centre immediately following the church service.
For those so desiring, donations may be made in Ken’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
