June 24, 1942 – February 10, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mom is survived by her children Keith, Cathy (Darryl) and Pat (Ed). Grandchildren Emily, Krista (Matt), Brittney (Derek), Chris (Katherine) and Dale (Hser). Sisters Pat and Bev (Leonard) and sister in-law Donna (Corky), great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by the love of her life Bruce (2022) and her grandson Bruce John (2020).
Mom and dad were married for 62 years.
In keeping with mom’s wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment at Elm Creek Cemetery will be at a later date.
Many thanks to the staff at Concordia and Selkirk Hospitals for their care and compassion during mom’s brief stay.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
A light went out on earth for me the day we said goodbye. And on that day a star was born the brightest in the sky. Reaching through the darkness with its rays of purest white, lighting up the Heavens as it once lit up our lives, with beams of love to heal the broken hearts you left behind. Where always in our memories your lovely star will shine.
