Obituary of Nicole Ann Sobey
39 years ago on June 26th, 1985, God gave us a very special gift. On Friday October 25th, 2024, her loving family returned her into her heavenly father’s arms. Nicole leaves behind her loving Mom Pat Sobey (Ron, deceased) and her sisters Tracy Simpson (Gerry) and Denise Sobey. Loving aunt of Caylee, Maria, Ben, Addy and Allie. Nicole also leaves behind her special fur baby Koda. Fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Grand-daughter of Stella Sobey (Lorne, deceased). Nicole was blessed to have a very special group of friends who were by her side until her passing. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Redeemer Church, Charlottetown on Wednesday, October 30th at 10:30 am. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made online to Legacy of Life or the PEI Humane Society. Nicole’s family and friends would like to thank Island EMS, the doctors, nurses and staff in the Emergency Department, Trauma & ICU; especially Dr. Kyle Murnaghan, nurses Kacey and Julia who have a very special gift when caring for patients and their families in the most difficult moments. Special thanks as well to the Spiritual Care Department, Fr. Gethin Edward, Fr. Krys Stanula and Cathy.
