Obituary of Nanette Louise Trainor
On Sunday, December 17, 2023 surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown the death occurred peacefully of Nanette Louise Trainer (Cook) of Stratford, formerly of Montague, age 87 years.
Loving mother of Karen Gosley (Gordon), Tom MacLeod (Cathy), Wendy Foster (Bob), Lorianne Davies (Angus) and Gregory Trainor (Jodie). Nanette will be lovingly remembered by her twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Sister of Billy Cook (Judy) and Dolena Buell. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Christine (MacLennan) Cook, her husband’s Edison MacLeod and Lawrence “Larry” Trainor and by her sister Aileen MacLure (Arnold).
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
Interment will take place at Montague Community Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made online to the Upper Room Food Bank.
