It is with sadness the family of Sharon Ching (nee MacGregor) announce her passing, which occurred peacefully surrounded by love and family at her side, at the Colville Manor, on Friday, November 8, 2024. Born on August 18, 1947, she was aged 77 years of Little Harbour, PE.
She leaves behind her best friend and beloved husband of 58 years, Ray Ching, and will be remembered as a caring and dear mother to Lori MacAulay (Mike), Luanne Ching, and Tracy Bishop (Steve). In addition, Sharon will be missed by her grandchildren, Danette Murray (Kevin), Brett MacAulay (Melinda), Randy MacAulay (Addie MacPhee), Braelyn Campbell (Damien Taylor), Brielle Campbell (Cameron Murphy), and Ashlyn Bishop, as well as her beloved great grandchildren, Camden, Meredith, & Hazel MacAulay, Max & Lauryn Murray and Kynlee Rae Taylor.
Sharon is survived by her brothers-in-law Sterling Ching and Peter Ching (Deborah MacGregor), and sisters-in-law Ruby Dixon, Roma Dick, Betty Ching (Gerry Lawrence), and Mildred Ehler, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Laura MacGregor, sister Carol Ann, brother Murray, and infant brother Eric; parents-in-laws Clarence and Ena Ching, brother-in-law Gordon Ching, and sister-in-law Kaye Ching.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Kingsboro Baptist Church on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow in the South Lake Church Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Sharon can be made to Souris Lion’s Club Christmas Boxes.
