Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, Donald Lewis passed away with his loving family by his side. He was 64 years of age from St. Peter’s Bay, PE.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years Linda (nee Ford) and will be remembered as a loving father to Robert (Holly) and Jeffrey (Breanna). Donnie was a dear grandfather to Eden and Annabelle.
He is survived by his siblings Audrey (Leonard), Danny (Loretta), Debbie (Barry), Darlene (Clarence), Wanda and Virginia. He is also lovingly remembered by members of the Ford family, and his very special friends Ian Morrison and Cathy Trainor. Predeceased by his parents Jerome and Penelope Lewis, brothers Roddie, George, Gerard, sister Margaret, infant children Arlene and Gerard, father-in-law William and brother-in-law Richard Ford.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 3-6pm. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Peters Bay Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Donnie can be made to Lennon House or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
