The death occurred suddenly at Lot 16 on Tuesday, November
19, 2024 of Edison Coughlin of Tyne Valley aged 76, husband of Daisy
(Fraser) Coughlin. Edison was born in Summerside on July 3, 1948, son
of the late Thomas Edison and Edna (Pineau) Coughlin.
Loving dad to Bella Coughlin, step-father to Wanda (Carman)
Coughlin, Wanda (Randy) Porter, Leonard (Kim) Cotton and Tina
DelMastro. Grampie to Justin, Marteeka, step-grandfather to 7
step-grandchildren and several step-great
grandchildren.
Dear brother to Barbara (Gary) MacDonald, Sonny (Kathy),
Colleen (Bobby) Annand, Sharon (Steve), Darlene (Brent) Johnson, Donna
(Eric) Wagner, David (Tina) and Randy (Tammy). Brother in law to
Hilton (Rita) Wilson, Gary (Freda) Wilson, Lila (Norman) Tracey,
Raymond (Marlene) Wilson, Linda (Eddie) Rayner, Pearl Gillis and Erwin
(Sheila) Wilson. He will also be missed by his many nieces and
nephews.
Edison was predeceased by his parents , 1st wife Blanche,
sister Roselle, brothers in law Lloyd Powers, Terry Gamble, Fred
Wilson, Loman Wilson, Ken Wilson, Warren Gillis, sister in law
Katherine Wilson, father and mother in law Bill and Belle
Wilson.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting
on Monday 12:00 until the time of the service at 2:00pm. Interment
will be at a later date in St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic
Cemetery.
In memory of Edison, memorials can be sent to the Tyne Valley
Fire Department.
