“Eleanor” Rose Durant
1936-2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Eleanor Durant,
at the age of 87, announce her passing peacefully at Beach Grove Home
on Monday, September 30, 2024. She will be forever remembered by her
son Paul (Nicole) Cheverie; grandchildren, Vanessa (Kyle) Rooney,
Sarah Cheverie and Brendon Cheverie; great grandchildren, Stella,
Khloe and Sophie; and her sister Olive Bryanton.
Predeceased by her son Michael Cheverie and brothers Lawrence
Jr, Clifford, Reginald, Donald, Clair; sisters June, Florence,
Christine; parents Lawrence and Millicent.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home where a funeral service will be celebrated on Monday,
October 7, 2024 in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to
follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
No visitation by personal request.

Eleanor was born in Summerside, the youngest of
10. After moving to Charlottetown, she devoted 40 years as a LNA. She
loved to bake, knit, crochet, play crib, listen to music and
walk.
