Write a Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing Betty on January 13 at the age of 94. Oh what a journey it has been.
Mom had a zest for life. She was always up for an activity enjoying her trips to the casino, coffee at Tim Horton’s, a luncheon or a treat. Betty was active in any community she was a part of from being involved in the town of Lytton where she worked as an LPN and raised her family, to being the president of the CWL at St Edmund’s Parish or setting up coffee Friday at Kiwanis House where she lived independently until 93.
In the end Mom was surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, daughter Jan and many other family members and loved ones. Betty will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by her brother Richard, son Glenn (Stef), daughter Lori Ann (Bill), 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
Betty’s laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Betty on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 am at St. Edmunds Church, 545 Mahon Avenue North Vancouver BC with a reception to follow onsite.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the SPCA or Canucks Place.
Rest in Peace Bets. You will be forever loved.
