Elizabeth Savita Kumar, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4th, 2024 at her home. She was born December 24th, 1947 in Lautoka, Fiji Islands. She was a child of Hari Singh and Phulmati. With her family, she migrated to Canada on January 9th, 1977. Elizabeth was a devoted wife to Rajendra for almost 55 years. She was an incredibly proud grandmother to all her grandchildren.
During her walks, Elizabeth would make countless friends who were drawn to her emanating kindness, friendship, and love. She was a compassionate listener and anyone who knew her felt comfortable confiding in her, knowing they would be heard. She would pray every single day for those who needed consolation and peace of mind from the Heavenly Father.
Elizabeth loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she always had time for.
Elizabeth touched the lives of many and will leave an incredible void for all that she left behind. She is survived by her loving husband Rajendra, sons Bobby (Renuka); Vimmi (Gillian); and grandchildren Ishaani, Shreiya, Kina and Keenan.
A funeral service will be held on March 12, 2024 at 3:00pm at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel to celebrate her life.
