After 90 remarkable years, our dear mother, Betty Messier Nee Palasthy, passed away on August 2, 2024. Her love and dedication to her family will never be forgotten. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Andre Messier, and their children; Monica (Kevin), Lynn, and Andre (Colleen). Her grandchildren; Chelsea (Elijah), Alexandra, Taylor, Douglas, and great-granddaughter Brinley will carry on her legacy. Betty’s two living sisters; Ethyl and Lillian (Daryl), were blessed to have her in their lives. Betty found joy in baking, cooking, horse races, and casinos, but her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones.
Brinley brought her immense happiness and will always be remembered as the shining light in her life. We take comfort in knowing that God has welcomed another angel into His kingdom.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Terry Fox Foundation. Our family is grateful for all of your care and support during this time.
