Adam Michael Rhodes Obituary
Adam Michael Rhodes, 44, of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, following complications from cancer and stroke.
Adam was the best of us. He was extremely driven and set a high bar for all those around him; he pursued goals relentlessly and at 44 years old he had achieved more than most. Adam never met a stranger he couldn’t wrangle a life story out of and turn into a friend and could have hosted his own podcast with the number of stories he had to tell. He was most at home in nature, having been a hunter and outdoorsman throughout his life. A talented racer, skier, shooter, hunter, homebuilder, mechanic, and driver, the thing that brought him the most pride and happiness was being a father to his daughter, Scarlett, and husband to his wife, Robyn.
Adam is survived by his daughter, Scarlett, and wife, Robyn; his parents, Sue, Cecil, Holly, and John; brothers Max and Tyler; sisters KC, Telah, and Kristin; nieces Mya, Harlei, and Zoey, and nephews Connor, Owen, Mason, River and the one yet to come; grandmother Carol; and his wonderful, wide group of friends.
If you wish to honour Adam, pay attention to semi-trucks on the road and don’t get in their way, and treat the wilderness with respect. Also, no flowers, please.
