John Edward McConnell
1942 – 2024
John Edward McConnell was born in Fort St John in 1942. He spent his early years travelling throughout BC leaving his mark everywhere he went. In 1965 he made his way north to the Yukon where he tried his hand at prospecting and simultaneously worked as a bartender. In 1967 he met his wonderful wife Margie and by 1969 had started a family, that consisted of three beautiful children. The McConnell family migrated to Tungsten for ten years before making their final journey back to Fort St John in 1986.
