It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Daniel. Who passed away peacefully on November 10th at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, BC at the age of 46.
Daniel Steven Robert Carter “Dan” Was Born in Richmond Hill, Ontario February 14, 1977 He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.
Dan is Predeceased by his father Daniel Robert Carter, mother Darlene Ellen Long, stepfather Brian Ross McDonald. His first love Jessica Sheridan.
Daniel will be loved and missed by his wife Tanya, and children Austin, Kylar, Alexa, stepchildren Kayla (Casey), Justin, grandson Declan, 3 step-grandchildren, his siblings Bruce (Lisa), Danah, Donna, stepbrother Brian, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle’s & friends.
Daniel was self-employed since 2007 in commercial and residential construction. He was a kind, gentle man who was loving and thoughtful towards his family that meant everything to him. Daniel had a special love and bond with all of his friends. Countless times he was there to lend a helping hand or encouraging word. He had a terrific sense of humor, was mischievous and loved to laugh.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and respect for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Daniel’s name to The Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada or Night & Day Recovery Centre.
