Brenda Mary June (Kosik) Hoisington
June 26, 1961– September 17, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that the family announce the passing of Brenda Hoisington on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in Whitecourt at the age of 63 years.
The love and memories she created during her time her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Brenda’s memory will be remembered and live on in her family, her children, Michelle (Shaun) Cameron and Brandon (Chantelle) Hoisington; grandchildren, Aiden Cameron, MaKenna Cameron, Brynlee Cameron, Irelyn Cameron, Mason Hoisington, and Natalie Hoisington; Siblings, Sharon Theunisse and Mark Kosik, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brenda cherished her nieces, nephews and her many friends. Brenda had special relationships with Della Stratychuk, Alberta Ferguson, Ashley Theunisse and Emma Theunisse.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Peter Kosik; brother, Wayne Kosik; and her grandparents, Alberta and William Fairfield.
Brenda’s world was her family, her children, and her beloved grandchildren. She was a very involved and supportive mom, and even more involved and supportive with her 6 grandchildren. Brenda would take them for an over night visit, and they would go into her large craft room, where they would spend hours making creations with their grandma Brenda. Brenda taught her children strength, perseverance and to be in service to others. Brenda went out of her way for others, she gave of herself to people who needed it, she would do for others before herself. Brenda enjoyed the outdoors, and activities outside; camping, quadding, and gardening. Brenda loved a good garage sale, plants, and loud country music while she cooked.
A Celebration of Life for Brenda will take place at the
Whitecourt Golf & Country Club on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 4:00pm.
